just spent 3 days last weekend in Toronto
what a clean city compared to Montréal
and man are the roads nice compared to the ones in Quebec
i really don't understand , we have the same climate
(they always blame it on the climate)
with roads like that here
my wife would actually be able to properly ride my Passat with it's proper 19" wheels with-out giving whiplash to the baby

Love love love Montreal.  Really love Metropolis, Aux Deux Parots (Sp???) and everything in the old section and BB Barns.  But I do take the train in so the roads, I dunno.  Maybe it's the salting????

We love going to Montreal, but I will agree Montreal seems like a mish mash and old buildings and what not. Living in Toronto we take this place for granted and when we get compliments we are in shock because most of the the rest of Canada seems to hate us. 

This Torontonian appreciates your remarks. I live 10 minutes from Yonge and Bloor so when I say I am from Toronto I really am.

i really think Toronto was a nice city
we took Via business class from Montreal, not something i would do again
and then i rented a crappy Dodge Caliber, i think they forgot to put an engine in that thing......man does it lack power
i like the city rail cars
and all the new glass buildings are awesome, makes it look real modern
i was there like 14 years ago, didn't seem like all those buildings were there

I was born in Mtl., and go back yearly to visit family. I lived in downtown T.O. for 25 years.
They both have there good things and bad things.
Comparing Mtl. & T.O. is like comparing apples to oranges ... love 'em both!!!!

Yes, I have a friend from New York, his business takes him all over the USA and he has a few clients here in Toronto. He claims that Toronto women are among the most beautiful he has ever seen.

When he is here we usually go out for dinner and what not downtown, He especially likes starting at the Keg on York, reason ? They get their servers from the Ford Modelling agency !
