Done think i'll be able to listen to that song the same anymore.

Another thing that people don't think about is the morning after. I was hit head-on while riding a motorcycle, the guy had been drinking the previous night. 6:30 in the morning he pulled out to pass 5 vehicles on a country highway, thinking my single headlight was a car headlights way off in the distant. I got over as far as i could. lots of room for 3 vehicle to pass each other, but he panicked at the last moment and careened of the truck and nailed me head-on. as i tell everybody i wrote off a dodge diplomat with my body. i flew 75 ft, crossed 3 front lawn, came to a rolling stop, mad as hell i was going to give that driver a whatfor, but i couldn't stand up. broke my left leg at the femur right behind the knee cap. lost my kneecap. 14 broken bones in my left hand, when i took my glove off all my fingers were the same length, separated my shoulder on my rights side and also broke my collar bone. i didn't walk again for 4 month. still feel all the aches and pains and that was 21 years ago. The driver got multiple charges, one was for alcohol.

WOW is right X2
BC now has the toughest drunk driving laws in the country at .05 plus taking away your car and mega fines.
Now the bars are crying to turnover this new law, because drinking has dropped in bars and resturants. People are to scared and not taking a drink or two at dinner or lunch

We should warn folks that video is graphic. We need it to be aired here. Some of kids here at work think it's a joke to drink and drive. I think if a drunk kills someone it should be 1st degree murder with mandatory 20 years behind bars.

That is very graffic.... It makes the point very clear about driving impaired. Now they need to make one that shows the rest of the picture, alcoholism destroying families. The impaired driver has likely been tearing apart their own family long before crashing a car or getting a fine.

Reality isn't always pretty but thanks for posting this..
Watching videos like this should be necessary for today's kids to log on to Facebook or their texting systems!.

Wow, quite the accident Steve!.
Although not as hurt as you I broke my femur in '85 and spent 3 months in the hospital in traction..
25 years and counting later I'm still sore!.
Lucky for youth as a fella'd be done going through it all at this age!.

I just got pulled over for a spot check on the way home. Kinda funny cause I had beans for lunch and let's just say there was a strong odor in the car but it wasn't alcohol!!!!!! 10 second visit with the Gendarme and we were on our way!!!

And I am happy to say, I am not one of these who feels my rights are violated when the police do spot checks. I support them 100%.

The lawmakers are the same ones who drink and drive  and have thousands of liquid lunches

By the stats this yr. people aren't getting the message out our way. Every morning I walk the dog about 3/4 of a mile down Durham 57 south of 7A & you wouldn't believe the beer bottles & cans & liquor bottles tossed out of cars. I can tell the new ones from the old by the "skid mark the bottle made in the snow!!!! We also had a lady write the local paper all in a "tither" that she had been stopped in "RIDE" check & the officer asked where she was coming from, She refused to answer as she thought it was a "infringement on her rights" & of course things went "south' from there re guarding the officer & her!!!
