I was going to buy a grille script emblem tonight on ebay. I had waited until my PayPal account transfer was complete. went to go buy an emblem and it sold sometime between yesterdaqy and tonight.
The emblem came on 1961 Pontiacs. It was the emblem in the front grill. I believe that the 62's sported the same or similar emblems.
So, this is the style of emblem I am looking for. I know it isn't the cleanest but I just traced a photo with a digital pen and tablet.

I contacted NOS parts. The price the quoted me made me almost fall off my chair. The one I saw on ebay was good driver quality.
I can justify the $40 bucks for the ebay one but not $100. Even my feeble little man brain won't allow it... Besides, the NOS is brand spanking new and deserves to be on a resto car, not a driver.
Thanks for taking the time to post that! It is appreciated!

Hey Bruce, I just put it up there as an example after a short google search. Ames might have them. I'm sure someone repros them @ around $40.00. $100.00 = ouch!

61 only part and I don't believe any body repops them. Be cautious buying Tempest parts for a full size as they are almost always wrong. My 2 cents.Anyway I have the script you need, driver quality same $ 40.00 if you want it.Bill @ 519-895-0509.
