This would be such a cool project.  I have always like these things. Just needs to have Beaumont trimbiggrin
There was one in Calgary for sale about 30 years ago but I haven't seen it again.

That price seems quite reasonable.

Really interesting car. If the floor and the frame is not rusted out - worth all the money.

Great car restored or made into a Beaumont for sure.

Somebody - buy it now, fix it later!

This is a Canadian car so under 300 built. It's a little rare to cut up I think. The frame is replaced but it needs floor boards. Apparently it's a numbers match too. I finally traded off my El Camino and a 64 beaumont for Body work on the Cheetah(sound familiar Kelly) so that was my last Chev and I'm not going back. I don't need another, I don't need another, I don't need another!!!!

All the history I have found on two door '64 and '65 Chevelle wagons states that they were all built south of the border, and not sold with the regular line up by Canadian dealers. Somebody may have special ordered this car through a Canadian dealership, more likely it is an import at some point from the states.

As I said, absolutely great car worth restoring. Will sell in a flash on the TeamChevelle website or in Hemmings.

He tells me that the suffix matches so how would he do that without GM Canadian docs? Or is he full of it?

Google research Chevelle two door wagons, try the website rarewagon.com or teamchevelle,
there is a ton of info about these cars, all pointing to being US built and sold.

Hot rodders are hugely interested in these things, especially fairly well priced builders like the one in question. Someone will snap it up fast.
Check out this thread from earlier this year on a similar but restored car:

None of the Canadian information that I've ever seen lists a Canadian 2 door wagon but documents from GM Vintage would certainly take care of that.

My vote would be "he is full of it" as stated but this one would be easy to prove at least.
