Has anyone used this reproduction part in their Beaumont or GTO? It states that it has correct colors but isnt the outer housing supposed to be chrome? My chrome is worn and either needs to be rechromed or replaced. Maybe the GTO was black and the Beaumont was chrome? This part is listed for GTO only.
Strange that it shows as black...should be chrome. I did email one of those repop resellers to see if they would sell only the chromed plastic bezel, but no go! Too bad they don't offer just the chrome peice, since i'm sure most people would be interested in that alone. It's worth getting the price to have it re-chromed vs. the repro unit... I'd be interested in having mine rechromed too, not really necessary, but would look nice!
It states that it is correct colors for GTO. Beaumont isnt even mentioned, so maybe GTO was black and Beau's were chrome. Does anyone know if this repop is one solid unit or does it come apart? I'll call and find out.
