This is a total guess but from what I've seen over the years about one in 50 cars. For some reason it s really low. Mine has it and I had Goerge run the numbers but he never detailed how many had that option unlike a couple of the others on the car.
Here's another trivia question but I'll have to ask Carl to not answer right away like I did.
Whats the difference between the early 65 and late 65/66 factory tachs in the B body cars?
I bet in southern Manitoba I've seen more 2 door hardtop 66 GP's with all tinted glass than without. I have no idea why it would be higher here than other areas though.

I am off to bed now but I'll leave you with a (hopefully) tougher one.
Think 66 Bonneville dash vs. 66 Grande Parisienne dash.
There is something functional that the 66 Bonneville has that the Grande Parisienne never had. No, I'm not referring to the optional oil and temp gauge either.
And remember, this is functional. It's not a cosmetic difference.
I'll check in the morning. You'll either get this right away cause you know it, or I'll stump you (I hope!!)

OK, speaking of smoking, the only thing I can think of from the one boneyard Bonneville I saw in my life was that the Bonneville dash had real wood in the wood grain finish instead of dynoc (or whatever that was called on the Grande Parisienne dash. Does that count as functional?
I'll take a flyer at a four way flasher button. I think they were introduced sometime around then and maybe the US got them the year before us??????? Huh! huh?
Rats! No wood stuff. It can't be the AC dash vent as they both had that. 4 way flasher maybe.... Still not sure. So this is a standard feature on all the dashes right?
Nope, as far as I've seen they are the same. I've installed the US flasher accessory switch on Candian cars. It moved on to the column in 67 for everybody.

As far as I know, it's standard on Bonnevilles and possibly all of them.
On a side note, Ken, have you noticed the shape/contour of the US dash pads is slightly different than on our cars?
