Full size Pontiac 250 engine trivia

This one is just plain new to me and I bet pretty much everyone. Some of you may not even know what these are!

According to the Pontiac Parts Catalogue, how could you get exhaust valve rotators on your 69 or 70 full size Pontiac if it was equipped with a 250 6 cylinder?

How's that for an out-in-left-field question???

If they were "standard" on the 250 six, then you would get them, by not ordering a V8

Wow, I had forgotten this one never was solved!!!

I had to think for a while because I forgot too, but now I remember.

Keep at it and if nobody gets it, I'll post the answer in an hour or so.

It IS a bit of a strange one.

Oh, and as you have guessed, none of the answers is correct, or actually, really even on the right track yet.

No, but you are kind of starting on the right line of thinking.

And the correct answer is....................

Drumroll----------------

Order the car with Taxicab equipment! Not even Police equipment got rotators, just Taxicab equipped cars had rotators on the exhaust valves... So now you know...

Hmmm, wonder how many new Strato and Laurentian Cab fleet orders there were in '69 and '70. Good one Carl!
