under, whats it worth 12 bolt 65 Beaumont rear

What should I pay for a 65 posi 12 bolt Chevelle rear? It is ready to bolt in with all new bearings, clutches and powder coated

1500 bucks would be cheap as the guts are almost worth that

Some people will disagree with me but I am thinking to buy one and to through it would cost $1000-$1500 depending on what the purchase price is.

To buy a new Moser bare housing, no axles is about $800 US I think.

I paid 450.00 on the low end but no more than 1500.00 on the high end. If it doesn't have new axles it is definitely on the low end. What's wrong with the 65 12bolt in your 327 auto car? Why would you need another?

a pretty rare piece, I was thinking $1500, but I'd love to say you can still buy one for $500,,,,,not likley though.. dream on

in contrast ,, I had a 68 Nova 12 bolt 3.31 posi, I didn't want to sell it , told the guy a stupid #,,,,$1500 thinking I would get a ''ya right '' He said yes, I'll take it ,, my jaw dropped a little, and I took the cash. that was 6 years ago.

there is so much repop stuff for the Chevelle and none for the Beaumont, I may let it live on with the name it was born with

Bought one last year for 450.00. They are out there but if you want one quick 1000 to 1500.

In about 1990 I found one out of a 68 Chevelle that had a 2 series posi carrier with a spacer behind the crown gear so it would work with 3 series gearing. I figured I stole it for $350 at that time. With todays prices, it would have been at least $750 or more. I think $1500 is a deal for one that has been rebuilt. Just remember that you can buy a NEW Moser or a Strange complete assembly for around $2500 that will bolt in. Not the cheapest way to go but it is a good means of finding out the value of used parts.
