This listing is for a completely remanufactured 1966 Chevrolet 327 rated at 300 hp. This professional rebuild was done by the seller, Muir Engine Services, LLC. The original engine was completely disassembled and the major components (block, intake, heads, crank, water pump, balancer) were remachined and/or reconditioned. The internal parts (cam bearings, rod bearings, main bearings, cam, lifters, pistons, timing set, oil pump, gaskets) were replaced with top brands like Speed Pro, Melling, Fel Pro and Summit Racing. All bearings were clearanced and the engine successfully oil primed. A detailed checklist was maintained during the rebuilding process.
The block is casting number 3858174 dated H185 and is freshly bored at .040 over. There are no engine pad numbers. The crank is forged steel with fresh machining to .010/.010 on the journals. A balancer bolt hole has been drilled and tapped in the end of the crank.
The heads are camel double hump 3782461 dated I95 and I115. The valves are 1.94 intake and 1.50 exhaust. The heads received a valve job. The intake is 3872783 dated H205. The water pump has been rebuilt and is casting number 3782608 dated E105.
The motor can be crated and delivered to a dock for $100 for your carrier pickup or I can assist in setting up shipping.
