Finally! Wagon photos

Well the sky finally cleared and the sun is out so here are some pics of the old girl as she is now.  Have all the new(old) replacement parts to make her pretty again, just a matter of scheduling time now.  Hope you enjoy pics for xmas.

Yup just as she came as new.  Paint is badly oxidized and primer showing through a lot on roof, but very minimal rust.

Was my dads first new car.  I bought it from him in 72, and drove it for one year, 1977/78, then parked/stored since then.

Wow! That looks like cypress green to me. That is a low production color for sure and the car is in nice condition. I love them when they are like that, so innocent, never been apart, untouched?

Just love that wagon, looks like no rust problems at all. Has F40 suspension . Its one of those cars you can slowly fix up as you drive it.

What a great start for a restoration. It will be a nice tribute to your dad when it's done.

Had to revist the thread and take another look. What a great find. (I think it would be a shame covering up that original survivor paint.)

(I should quit saying "great find" considering you bought it from your father LOL.  "Great retention!")

I love it! This should give me some inspiration. Ilike the mirriors, are they factory or a dealer item?

The mirrors were dealer installed, but were supplied by an aftermarket producer not by GM Canada.  I have seen other mirrors the same on other Beaumonts, so I think it was a common thing.  To be  honest visibility is poor out of driver side and really poor on passenger.  Funny never noticed it when I drove it 30 years ago?  I guess its the 53 year old eyes.
