a little gentle bashing in on a valve cover with 2 ball peen hammers, got the near stock look i was going for. this engine is fully rollerized, so i didnt have the option of running short vave covers. but it turned out ok, with 1/16" clearance.
the wife prepping the dash to be shot in jet black to match the new black and aqua interrior. my wife cheryl sandblasted all of the seat frames, after they returned from the upholstry guy with new springs, and even shot them all with magnet paint. (far superrior to por 15, but really pricey, $140 per gallon. its the same paint we used on the frame & underbody)

Great build, nice to have the better half into it! Keep the updates coming. One question Colin, with all that newfound giddyap are you not going with front discs, or at least a dual system?

full disc coversion and dual master setup is on its way, also looking into a rear disc setup as well. i,m at the mercy of the parts gods. they sure are slow!
stealing horsepower wherever i can get it, 2 12" electric fans.
Very nice work indeed! (These pictures remind me of the Green Hornet trailers that have been playing. Looks like you have room for some grenade launchers behind those headlights.) Thanks for the updates!

looking great love the color aquamarine? nice work got yer wallet open?
its actually a 1997 ford colour. its a med calypso pearl with 80 grams of moss green pearl added into it. the #1 metalic was changed to a courser #3 metalic. it really has some depth to it. except for the interior, i do all my work myself, so the cost isnt all that bad for a brand new 66, thats a little on the high performance side. whenever i think about what i,ve spent, i think of what it cost me to build my charger. so building a gm, is about 1/3 of the price, so no complaints here!
started on the bodywork end of things yesterday. in the 30 yrs this car sat, the nieghborhood kids used it as a playground. so far i have pushed the roof up to its original location, kids jumping on the roof, and "shrunk" all of the stretch marks in the roof. working on passenger door and 1/4 panel today. will post pics later today when i pick up some more beer and batteries for the camera
