Will A '64 Impala 4-door Frame Fit Under My '64 2-Door Parisienne?

I'm just making really sure that a '64 Impala 4-door frame will work under my '64 2-door Parisienne before I buy.
I have a line on a '64 Impala more-door for parts that is on the Island (a rare thing here).

Thanks a lot, Darryl.

I'm sure you will get a more experienced answer than mine but I am certain they fit. I can check the parts books tonight if you like though.

Can't use the interchange since they only know about those weird US model Pontiacs wink

that is a good idea Darryl
that is the exact same thing i wanted to do for my car, but i can't find a restored frame for a convertible

i found a complete rolling frame for a 1964 Impala 2 door, everything is on it (bumpers, both axels, wheels, all suspension stuff, everything that attaches to frame except engine and transmission) and it's all restored for a decent price  in New York state
but it won't work for my convertible

it was cheaper to buy the restored frame than to restore my own frame!!!

According to this page of '63 Chevy specs: http://carnut.com/specs/gen/chv60.html, yes, 2-door and 4-door Impalas both had a 119-inch wheelbase. Hope that helps!

Yes,  61-64 frames are the same.
There are some minor differences with the front  and rear bumper bracket area depending on the year adn if it is a pontiac.

Your pontiac will have some front bumper extentions welded on the front frame.

Just DONT get rid of your old frame til you have swapped the bracketry.

What Beaumontguru said. I have both and they look pretty much identical. Wheelbase is 119 but for the Pontiac should be 120 to fit the Pontiac body. US body is on a 120 inch WB; It's why the rear wheels look to close to the front edge of the rear wheel opening on the Cdn Pontiac.
