If it still looks like that, I think I like that car, buy it and drive it, if you feel like fixing it up do it as you drive. Good value car imo...5 speed !

That car looks amazing in the original combo. Keep it Custom trim too with a stout 350 and life is good.

Ive had this car for 9 years there wasnt much left to it when I bought it. It took about a year to get enough parts to build it. When I finished I drove with my wife and two young kids every summer its parked every winter. If I can find my start picture Ill try and post it. Unfortunitly I need to sell it to finish our house, getting close to finishing but running out of money.

I bought this car from Cory a few months ago. I've replaced the engine as the 350 it had was worn out. It now has a 350 with a SCAT 4 bolt main steel crank. I estimate it at about 400hp but it hasn't been tested. There's still a lot of work to do on the interior and body. The paint code on it translates to Rallye green and, while I'm not going for an original look necessarily (just cool looking and fast) I plan to go with that colour but keep the stripes. I'll post pics when I get a chance.

Welcome Mark from PEI. Good thing that it is being worked on. Any recent pics?

The exterior still looks the same for now...that's going to come last. The only substantial change so far is under the hood. I work overseas for 8 weeks at a time and don't get home again til mid-June. I'll post pictures then. That's when I'll be putting on new lower control arms to stop the hopping when I come on to her and maybe getting a start on the interior which is a bit of a mess.

Welcome aboard Mark!.
Cool car and great it's landed in the right hands!.

Weyepopping.gifW if the original color is the same vibrant Rally Green the '69 Chevelles/Camaros had!.
When you get to the paint stage, be aware that RG is a great resale color when original to the tag also would just pop on a Beaumont!.

Ok I see the problem, he thought code 790 was the paint code. Code 79 is the paint code for rallye green. But code 790 is the trim code for parchment interior.

Welcome to the site. I spotted your car on Saturday at Action in Aylesford and was going to turn around and check it out but i was already running behind. May see you around at a car show this summer.

Thanks for the info on the colour. You're right, I misinterpreted which number was the paint code. I still think I'll go for green but I'll consider the tourquoise. Paint is several months off, anyway.
Ashmore,
The guys at Action are helping me (or doing) the hard stuff as I neither have the tools or expertise to do things like engine changes. They let me hang around and help and learn. It gets expensive but they're great guys and I'm learning a lot. I left the car there while I'm overseas so they can do some stuff to do it while I'm gone.

Personally, I like that colour combo much better than Rallye Green, but that's my taste.
