I was just going through the GM assembly manual microfiche, when I noticed this! I love oopsies like this!

Isn't that crazy? An official GM document, sent out all over the place and they don't know how to spell the name of their own model?

I see bad spelling on official stuff more all the time but this is 1968!

In 1968 I think that would have been a tough error to correct, not like today where its a backspace delete and correct. It is so obvious looking at it now but the proof reader probably looked at it 10 times.

Some people still have trouble spelling Camaro correctly. My friend had an old Chevy II and they mis-spelled Chevrolet on the trunk lid, it said Chevroelt.
