This was my grandmothers car, all original and in fine condition. If you are looking for a car to turn into a hot rod this is it. Runs strong and very powerful with its original 350 V8 motor. This is the same car as the Chevy Nova, more rare as the Pontiac Ventura. This car even had a version of the GTO, a true hotrod. This car runs great and can be a daily driver if you like, has 90,000 miles, original AC, power steering and brakes, original radio and interior. All #'s match, it has never been touched by any modes, only the dual exhaust. just email for more info, Just imagine this car with rally wheels and a minor lift in the rear, instant hot rod...

I guess Granny liked to hear that Poncho purr, duals eh ?

It's sweet little car though. Cool dog dish with trim rings, looks way better than wheel discs.

7 or 8 years ago a local appraiser told me of a 71 Nova, with only 25K miles on it.  I told a buddy about it (he's always wanted one) and we went and looked.   It was very plain, manual steering and brakes, rubber floor mat, but did have a radio.   It had a straight 6 with a "Torque Drive" transmission (basically a Powerglide with some parts removed and needed to be shifted manually).

Same type of thing as this Ventura, elderly lady had it, didn't drive it much, and it was in excellent shape.    It took a little convincing, but my buddy bought it.     He had it a year or so, then parted with it as he had a few other projects going on at the time.    He told me last year that he kicks himself every day for selling it.

While the Ventura won't have the following of a Nova, if they're asking $5500 someone could probably pick it up for $4500, and have a good car.

Someone should buy it just to keep it the way it is in my opinion. Now the car's the age that it is and has survived in the original condition it has for all these years, I just think it would be a shame
to destroy that originality after all this time. If someone wants to hot rod one of these particular cars, why not just go and get one that's already undergone multiple butcher's knives over the years and do that type of one up. Again, just my opinion fellas. Nice little car.
