This is my chevy 2 that i bought 3 years ago and i have put huge money in to it and still have not used it.I have over 60000 in reciepts in the last 3 years and i have decided to go another route. I am going to buy a full race nova or camaro for the 10.5 class and do not want to cut this little duece up its too nice.All the panels and glass,moldings are original from the day it was sold on october 26 1966 from Rimbey motors.I have the gm documentation from Frank Zappora and it is 1 of 112 2 door sport hardtops sold in Canada for drag racing purposes with heavy brake and suspension radio delete. The rest of them were sent to knickey racing in chicago for his out of the box race cars.I have a brand new zz 383 fast burn motor from gm dealership in Red Deer that i paid 9000 for and a brand new supert 10 nodgular 4 speed and a narrowed ford nine inch with strange gears and axles spool. All the brakes are drum brakes and front end is the heavy duty stock everything.The interior all gutted but still retains its original mint dash and cluster door panels which are perfect rug and seats are gone and just 2 front seats are in there.There is a 8 point cage from racers edge installed with a swing gate which can stay or be removed. Engine has all the best components hooker fenderwell headers msd distributor msd alternator msd starter electric waterpump b/m line lock tci scattershield dual friction clutch hurst vertical gate shifter all autometer guages 5 point harnesses by simpson etc. The wheels are the vintage brand new centerline pro drags whick are impossible to find anywhere which are wrapped with brand new mickey thompson drag radials (dot) street legal. Everything is brand new on this car even if it was bought 35 years ago none of it was used all still in box until i put it all together over the last 3 years. I will sell the car for 35000 dollars firm no trades you cant find an original nova like this anymore that is a real nostalgic drag car that is unbeaten I no this for a fact because i searched the planet from one end to the other. I have all the reciepts back to the 60s for all the new parts that the guy never got to finish his dream over 300 pieces of documentation from alot of years.
I know the dream is over for crazy money for cars which is great because people can start to afford these classics but this car is woth every penny and if i do not get 35000 for it cash or bank draft it will be used as a shelf for another 35 years.
