player's car at mosport

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Eo2uvbCsEk pretty cool engine noise. I hate it when people put their own soundtrack, just let the motor do the music.

As I remember during the series where they raced all Pontiac 1LE GTAs or Camaro 1LR Z28s, all those cars were equal, and even the engines were sealed at the St. Catherines plant. It all boiled down to driver skill with that series.

I worked at Goderich Chrysler from 83-90
During that time there was/is a high school teacher(now retired) John Scratch, I think is the name, who used to work part time on  race cars...
He brought a Camaro home one weekend(in a trailer), and brought it over  to the dealership...  I had to crawl in, and he said it had a "sealed" 305 motor  I drove it out to Ben Miller and back.... 5-6 miles...  It was a real rocket...  it said "King City" on the side...........

Mike I am sure you would have lapped that guy at least once.

Finding the right spot and the right time to overtake was one of the best times when I was racing ... right next to 160 mph on the back straight ...

You're on, Mike! Certainly worth a plane ticket ... although I would also need to buy a new driving suit (added over 50 pounds since then) blankstare

Wonder if I can still double-clutch down-shift under braking like I used to? I'm pretty sure I can still take the proper line through corners, since I practice that every day driving biggrin
