Will US Pontiac 8-lug wheel/drums/hubs fit on Canadian Pontiacs

A big fan of Canadian Pontiac biggrinin Virginia (US) needs to know whether or not 8-lug wheels, hub/drums will fit on Canadian Ponticas or not.  Does anyone know?  I am assuming probably not because of Chevrolet running gear.  Specifically looking at putting 8-lug  wheels on a 1962 Strato Chief, Laurentian or Parisienne which I am currently searching for.  Thanks!

No interchange at all there unfortunately. They are two completely different chassis setups.

Nothing is interchangeable for this setup.

Well, if the 62's still had the "narrow track" Chevy chassis, then you ought to be able to fabricate some adaptors, to bolt on to the Chevy (Cdn Pontiac) drums, which would have studs to match those classy-beyond-belief 8-lug wheels, and they would fill the wheel wells better as a bonus!

(obviously this example is not correct but does illustrate the concept)

Or you could shorten a U.S. frame  and then they would be a bolt on?  buggered.gif
