'87 Trans AM digital dash parts wanted

Hello boys,
My wife has a beautiful '87 GTA Trans Am with an evil possesed dash.
Naturally it is the digital dash acting up.
I have been checking Kijiji but nothing so far. My hopes are that a member has one or an '87 parts car. Has to be an '87. If I could get the whole car I would consider a dash swap, wow what a job that would be.
Any help just pm me .
Thanks .

Chances are that dash can be repaired. Sounds like some of the contacts need to be resoldered.

I have a complete dash section, but I am not sure what year it is from. How do I tell which year is which? or do you have a pic?

Like StriperSS said, I can almost guarantee that dash can be fixed with some touch up soldering.
I had a 97 Regal GS with an funky HVAC display and I fixed it by resoldering the diodes. On the Impala SS the contact points on the board need to be resoldered to correct their display issues.

Here's the thread from the Impala SS forum to give you an idea of what I mean. CLICK HERE

You have nothing to lose by taking your cluster out and having a look.

I'm sure someone in your area must do digitals.

At our dealership we use a local guy, Mr Whizard for digital dashes.

Thanks guys,
I am going to contact Mr.Whizzard. That name I had forgotten.
Fixing it is the best route. That way the mileage stays correct and you don't have to explain someday that you have no idea about miles ! Since it is a low miler at 60k
it may matter someday to someone. Wouldn't be a bad idea to snap up a few
from wrecks either. I remember my '89 Blazer getting two complete digital dashes under warranty. Then my fleetwood has been perfect from day one.
Any advise, parts or sources for repair let me know.
Thanks.

Jim........I,ve looked everyone except one place and I don't know where that place is. I know I have one of those somewhere but I can't find it right now. I've looked high and low, but if I come across it I'll let you know.
