Keep in mind that most of the good cars shown are already gone and he wanted 9500.00 for the best project rag in those photos. I have been there and he's okey to deal with but go in the summer because the snow is 10 feet deep.
Keep in mind ,, that tall grass is hell on the underside of the western cars....
I brought a 72 Monte Carlo home, looked pretty decent , by the time I got it home after 15 miles of washboard gravel ,, the 1/4's had given up most of the lower metal....good to know , but what a surprise,,seemed solid !
that Monte had been sitting in the same environment under the tree line for 15 years...

I test metal with a stack of hard drive magnets ... more than sufficient to saturate the metal. If I can pull the magnet loose with one hand, it's too thin to keep. thicker than 20ga ... two hands are needed and it's a tough pull at that.
I used to have a body shop in Cache Creek, BC so I know about a few places like this one. Has anyone seen the stuff in Clinton, (north of Cache Creek) ? There are a few cars right in town but just on the outskirts is a vintage wrecker and he had some very nice stuff.
I spoke with Mike yesterday and he said that this was just one of his yards and there is another yard over towards Falkland . His web site is www.mikesrestos.com I had some problems getting on his site, ended up going to his facebook account and everything was there. Check it out..... James
Like I said most off those cars sold. The Acadians were all gone years ago, but there is a few 64-65 Beaumont stuff there but I can't afford to pay 5000 to 10000 for something with no drive train and full of holes. I like the rasta blasta, but he's pricey. Did anybody see him on Casta net? He was on the news because he was contracted to put mats on the cliffs on the sea to sky highway.

He was on the news here in the fall with Premier Campbell making a presentation to the workers on the road widening between Summerland and Penticton. He's not afraid of heights.
