I Lucked-out - A NOS '64 Patch Panel
Permalink Closed

I put a ad on UsedPEI for '64 Parisienne or '64 Impala parts/parts car. Someone contacted me and said they have a NOS, in the box, passenger side rear quarter patch panel. I couldn't believe it ... on little ole PEI!
My wife and I did a road trip (1 1/2 hour drive), and I bought it. I'm happy!

1980's vintage, and made in Canada! Specifically for a '64 Parisienne ... matches perfect.

The same guy gave me a couple leads on a couple '64 Parisiennes.

PEI is about 224km from tip to tip so a 1.5 hour road trip is very plausible.

Not if there's an NOS panel waiting!!! The trip should be 1/3 the normal time!!!

Yep, about a 45 min. drive from north shore to south shore, and about a
4 hour drive from tip to tip.

The panel was located "up west", a very poor part of the province, but that doesn't stop these people from having some cool cars. Saw a lot of cool wrecks in people's "yards" along the way.
I'm going to see another guy today about a '64 Parisienne "in the woods".confuse

I have the company name, and I'm going to see if they are still around.

890-86 is a Cross Canada part number which has not be listed for a few years now. listed as 63-64 but with the curve on the top edge it was made for 64's.  Their is  buried treasure on that island for sure. great find.

Eventually use it. I'm making the car mechanically sound first, and driving it as found.
