How can you make this for less than $65?  Is it made of tin foil and toilet paper?

PS  Not what I'm looking for, but was surprised at the price...

Probably Chinese made junck. I bought a $20 new chromed valve cover for my 261 and didn't have it on more than a year and it started to rust - a wee bit on the outside and a LOT on the inside.

Of course not. They might fit ... but what sort of lame duck wants to put 350 stamped valve covers on a 305? That's like those fart can exhausts on Civics ... lame.

Those valve covers at .040 couldn't possibly be any worse than the factory crap for poor sealing.

Lots of fart cans on those Civics .... doesn't make it right.

Frankly ... I'd love to take this 305 and clean it up .... see just how many ponies I can shake loose from it. I want to show 305 .... with 300hp. For me, it's not the show, it's the go and the whoa.
