Heres a good ole Canadian car...

Love these things. Check the horn button.  Friend had one when I was in my teens, totally covered the dash with 3" fur...LOL, even carried a comb in the glove box to comb it.  He was the only one who knew where the ignition switch was, and which heater control was which...he cut slots in them so only the knobs were showing.

They are neat cars. There was a near mint 2 door sedan for sale locally on Kijiji a few months ago.

There was one sitting at my Dad's place when he passed. Hauled to the wreckers. No time to do otherwise. There were several old gems that I hope did not end up in the crusher.

The Frontenac had been chopped into some kind of bush buggy. Roof and trunk were cut off and a big soft top canopy affair put up over it - kind of looked like a Landrover. Still, the grill and lots of trim pieces were still there.

Ack! A thinly desguised Falcon! Those were HORRIBLE cars, no self-respecting youth would be caught dead in one, back in the 60's. It is NOT a 'classic' just because it is old!

But the Frontenac is to Falcons what the Beaumont is to Chevelles or Chevy II's. A little bit of Canadian history.

Besides, Falcons were just thinly disguised Mustangs in the mid-60's.

Other way around, Mustangs where "thinly" deguised Falcons, as all the under pinnings were Falcon with a little "lipstick & masscara" on new body!!!

Definitely looks better as a 2-door AND all done up for sure! Slam a 460 4-gear in her and yer ready ta go! As far as the 4-door goes, back in the day, she'd a been a winter car. Looking at it today? It STILL would be a winter car!
