John, great looking 427 Parisienne. Like the mono colour white finish with the rallyes, looks very understated. What colour is the interior? Bench or console? TH400? Are those 427 call outs on the hood an add on? Got a brief history of this car? As usual, lotsa questions!
Thanks for your comments Jonno. It has a dark green cloth bench seat, same material as 69 Impala. 427/335 with factory dual exhaust, T400, 12 bolt posi, PW,PDL, tilt, Comfortron auto AC, 35K miles. Call outs were added by a previous owner. Suspension has been upgraded either by a previous owner or by me with HD springs, shocks, sway bars, steering box and front disc brakes (was a drum car). Plus I added all tinted glass as only the windshield was tinted originally despite the AC.
Bought the car from a dealer in Quebec; don't know much of the history but on the yenko site someone has posted a copy of an auto trader ad in Quebec from the mid 80s offering this car for sale. It has a factory map light mirror that has an RCA parking permit sticker on the back of the mirror. I can only assume that one of the owners worked at RCA in Quebec at some point.
Car is in excellent condition; may have had one repaint in acrylic enamel but the paint has held up well. I added the 8" Corvette wheels and the Pontiac disc brake caps as I felt the deeper wider wheels fill out the large openings very well.
