I know I have one, haven't submitted it to the registry yet. Originally (I believe) Copper/creme, 283/powerglide. Now red/white(has been since the 70's) and 350/th350. Just wondering how many others are known to still be out there...and maybe how many were built?
According to GM Vintage Services there was a total of 2811 1958 Pontiac Parisiennes built, in the Sport Coupe and Convertible bodies! Broken down it is 525 6 cyl sport coupes and 1226 V8"s (both 283 and 348) for a total of 1751! 301 6 cyl convertibles and 759 V8's (both 283 and 348) for a total of 1060! Being very low production and a high rate of rust casulties we own a very rare car! Mine being a sport coupe with a 261 six cylinder! I am sending you a PM on your car.

Wow! Thanks 68SD!! I do have some of those old ads that my Dad collected over the years, but there's some good stuff there!! and 58 Poncho fan, I never knew the detailed breakdown like that, thank you! I would like to be in touch with you about our cars. To everybody else, I hope I can offer some help to somebody, as I am a painter/bodyman during the day...
i believe somewhere in amongst the debris i have a facory set of 4 spinner hub caps from one of those, is that possible? they have the plastic pontiac logo in the centre of the three spoke spinner. yes? no?

hey carl, no, i have quite a few varieties of spinner style hub caps, but i've never seen a set of these before and i got them from a chap that just finished restoring his 58 parisienne conv?!?
i was just looking over the pictures of your cars and, although i'll have to confirm tomorrow when i get to work, i'm pretty sure the initional hub caps are the same and if the spinners were added by someone, they did one hellava pro job and they definately have an old style pontiac logo in 'em.......hmmm?

I'd like to see those Dave. There is a another member on here that made his own "hybrid" '60s/70s Pontiac caps on the site, and they look factory. Anyone remember who it was?

Hello. Any chance you could take a pix of those wheel covers? I could identify them if they are for a 58! Thanks from Bob.
hi bob, for sure, i'm planning on going to the shop today. we received a foot of snow last night and now its drizzling so i stayed home today to shovel all the plants and roofs of trailers and sheds plus we're looking after 2 neighbours homes as well that needed some tlc, but now i want to find out more about these caps. love a good mystery!

o.k. i don't even know how i can explain myself and still at the end of it all, have even a shred of dignity. (but i'll try) i did get a bunch of parts from a customer who had just finished restoring a 58 parisienne conv. in the bunch of parts were these hub caps, i put them on my racks with out even second guessing them because i am definately NOT an expert on 58's. that was quite a while ago, well today i pulled them down and took all these pics all excited to find out what they were and, now this is were it starts to hurt, when i pulled the spinner off one to show how it is factory mounted, i saw a part # in the dirt, so i started cleaning it an d saw the part # and a very small logo. so small i put on the glasses and still couldn't make it out so under the lite magnifier..............gulp, there it was yep a FoMoCo logo, almost laughing at me. i'm sorry guys, but in my defense they were done quite well. anybody looking for 4 shiny frisbees?
Yeah we all make mistakes now and then, so don't give it a second thought! However I must admit, I would have taken them off your hands, if they had been the correct ones! Re the parts you got from the guy who restored the 58 ragtop, do you still have them and would it be possible to let me know what they are? Also do you know where the car is today? It would be a nice addition to the club! Bob.
