Hey folks, have you seen the pics of the new GMC concept? Finally GM is thinking about making a lifted from the factory truck! Just might be enough to make me give up my 3500HD crew dually, but I suspect the price might be special too! What do you guys think of it?

I could only imagine it lowered, scraping the ground!
... but then it's not a truck Darryl.

I think it looks great, there is a HD crew cab in my future and this is what I'd like it to look like!!
I'ts a status thing "my truck's bigger, newer and louder than yours!"
AND DON'T FORGET THE CHOKING BLACK SMOKE! IT USED TO BE THAT EXCESSIVE DIRTY EXHAUST WAS A BAD THING, IT WOULD SEEM NOW THAT THE MORE THERE IS THE BETTER.

Money, gas usage and pollution aren't an issue in S Alberta ... guess I'm just jealous and can't justify spending 60-70k on a vehicle just to drive to work.

You should sit and watch the traffic going north on hwy #63 to Ft Mac. For some of the people working up there in the tar sands money is like water, if they want it they buy it. The lifted trucks you see are unbelievable. The other day we stopped at Walmart on the way out of Edmonton, up drives this 3500 crew cab must have had a 12" lift and a huge set of boots on it, doors open and out gets this woman and her kids. The husband probably had the mini van.LOL
I've seen that here too. It is funny to see a woman trying to manuver them. Sadly tho, there have been incidents of kids getting hit a school drop off points.. they can't see the little ones way up in there.

I almost crushed a Corvette over by Kamloops a few years back, good thing my wife was along. The guy came up on the passenger side of the truck and I went to make a lane change right on top of him. They should make it mandatory for lower built vehicles to have them there orange flags on their bumpers or flashing neon lights or something. My ears are still ringing ,the little lady tends to over react at times like that. Ha Ha
yea tyhe road from mac to the sands is an entertaining one for sure.I like the f550s crew 4x4s its great to have a ****pile of money but hopefully i wont be back in the sands again...mind you a pece of crap 2-wide trailer in mac is 400 grand on a postage stamp lot!
It's not the 70000.00 that's expensive for that truck. It's the 250000.00 crane to air lift a 10' camper into the back of it and the 12" drop hitch that is for my stupid ski nauteek with 1200 HP motor that only pulls a wake boarder at only 20 MPH with my big stereo system cranking a annoying base beat! I must be getting old because of my rant, because we have lots of people on the never never pay back plan around here too. If they saved the money that some people spend up there in the tar sands you could retire at 40.
