I have a 1955 Pontiac 4 door sedan. It still has the original 265 V8 in it. 3-on-the-tree. Very complete.

Too bad it's been sitting in the grass. That's a rare car to still have the orig. 265 with a 3 speed stick.

If that car was in Ontario it would be in my shop getting stripped of the 265 . It sure seems all the good parts cars are in the western provinces.

Was the 265 in just the Pontiacs or in the Chevrolet as well ? If that's the case,
how many would you like ?

I HAD A '66 BISCAYNE THAT SAT IN A GRASSY FIELD IN SOUTHERN ALBERTA FOR MANY YEARS. THE BOTTOM SIDE WAS SPOTLESS. IT HAD THE CLEANEST UNDERCARRAGE I HAVE EVER SEEN ON AN UN-RESTORED CAR. IN MOST CASES THOUGH THE GRASS WILL EAT AWAY THE BOTTOM OF THE CAR AND FRAME. I THINK WHAT SAVED MINE WAS MOST LIKELY THE PERSISTENT WINDS DOWN SOUTH KEEPING THE MOISTURE AWAY.

The chrome and glass look in great shape. Looks to be a good project for sure.
