Canadian's in Florida, who knew this is such a small, small world.

Well after a week in North Ft. Myers, Florida, we finally feel somewhat settled in to the new trailer and new location.
So, last night I decided to get the Acadian out of the car trailer and attend the first cruise-in night since arriving.  When preparing to leave Michigan, I was forced to back the Acadian into the trailer because I didn't want to drive in the snow prior to into the trailer.
I unloaded in the storage area at the rear of our park and it took a little longer than normal so I left the car running to charge the battery up.  When I finally exited the storage area there was a guy walking toward me as I locked the gate.  We greeted each other and I just assumed he was another car guy interested in the Acadian.  I soon realized he was knowledgeable about the Acadian and that surprized me.  He offered that he had a friend that owned one just like it and having had that said to me numerous times, only to realize they meant a Chevy II or Nova, I was not impressed.  When I asked where he was from he said Newfoundland and I said oh, your Canadian.  It took me a moment to realize that because I'm accustomed to guys saying, Ontario not Newfoundland.  When he repeated his friend had a very nice car just like mine, I put two and two together and said, "Oh, Grecgo".  He said yes, Grecgo.
For those of you that don't know, Grecgo and I own twin cars, purchased by
the same family on the same day from the same dealer in Quebec.  Our 63 Acadian Beaumont Sport Deluxe cars are not only complete with all original trim and documented Z03 options but they are two of about 200-300 equipped with this option in 1963.  The gentlemans name is Sunny in case anyone else knows him.  I don't have Grecgo's email address and can't remember his nickname so I'm hoping he will check the site and see this post.
Again, this truly is a small small world we live in.
P.S.  Sunny (hope the spelling is correct), owns a 47 Mercury Coupe and a 75 Caprice Classic Convertible with a 454.

Cool story, thanks for sharing. Yup, small world (but I wouldn't want to paint it.)
