Look, I figured I'd make 10,000 posts by Christmas but I find that lately the topics are a little too mundane to contribute on. Can someone start a controversy so I can hit 10,000 by Friday ?
Let's put it this way, Is that the best you fellas can do, I mean Toronto isn't the centre of the universe, ya it's the centre of Canada. We have the only hockey team that can lose for 40 years but whenever they travel anywhere in Canada the Leaf jerseys in the crowd outnumber the home team jerseys. What's up with that???
We have the tallest building in the country and the best darn Mayor and so far this year, unlike south west Ontario we haven't called in the army to get a few cars unstuck from the snow.
How about the old reliable...Is Beaumont a Pontiac? To add fuel to the discussion, they had an Eldorado at BJ (a '57 maybe?) in which they said "nowhere on this model does it say Cadillac".
Or how about...I was at 7/11 tonight and they had Road & Track magazines for sale. $5.99 USD or $6.99 CDN. Ticks me off considering we are a little higher than par. Therefore, what are the thoughts re going in there with $6.00USD to buy it?
Or, worst case scenario...re your comment "keep em coming losers". I'm not a loser, you are. (You can then respond with "I'm not a loser you are", and so on, and so on, and so on...)

I'll take the nameplate argument. No where on a Bonneville or Grand Prix will find the name PONTIAC either so I guess Bonneville is it's own Marque as is Grand Prix. Never mind that they appear in sales brochures marked Pontiac just like the Acadians, that's just one guy at GM making a typo that has gone undetected for 50 years

In 1970 you will find the Acadians in the Sales Brochures titled PONTIAC, I am pretty sure by 1970 everybody in Canada had come to the realization that they were Pontiacs just in time for Pontiac to introduce the Ventura II the next year.
You are right, time for bed after all here in the centre of Canada it is 12:21 am, out the door at 7:00 am this morning back in the door at 6:40 pm, back out for a meeting at 6:50 pm and home about 9:30. But hey I'm not one to gripe about overtime....
