I'm surprised that Right wing Calgary has this, even in pinko Toronto the citizens got together and got photo radar tossed out for good. Let face it in most big urban centres the police are Revenue generation officers.
Ray, I thought I heard T O was think of bringing the Photo Radar back for in School Zones & high accident areas?? You know if thay do that the atrea's will get larger & larger!!!!

RED DEER WAS BRAGGING ABOUT THEIR REVENUES FROM THE PHOTO RADAR VAN, THEY HAVE BUDGETED FOR A SECOND VAN. I WOULD HAVE RATHER HEARD ABOUT THE LIFES THEY'VE SAVED (IF ANY?). IT'S FUNNY WHEN PEOPLE SEE THE VAN ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, THEY HIT THE BRAKES, EVEN IF THEY ARE NOT SPEEDING. IS THAT MAKING THE ROADWAYS SAFER?

For now they are self regulating, there is this Huge readout on the street that broadcasts your speed to everyone.
At night I sometimes go over to the school zone and stop then plant it to see how fast the readout climbs, kinda childish I know

There's one on the Island that I always "blank out". Once you go 100 km + per hour it goes blank (it only goes to 99 km per hour).
