ok here it is.Is the frame from a 65 tempest/gto the same wheelbase as a 65 chevelle/beaumont? What are the differences in length/wheelbase if there are any?Wikipedia says the cars have a 2 inch wheelbase difference but I think experience will have the correct answer.

The A-body frame, is unique to the Chevelle and their BOP counterparts biggrin

*1964-67 A-bodies used the same frame design


, but different models and bodystyles utilized various body mounting, while all frames had a 115 inch wheelbase,


which is similar to the 1955-57 Chevrolet.

I think the wheel base is the same 115"

Oh my! You couldn't let it go! I went out with a measurement tape and yes the mounts all match except the rear section under the trunk. A body GTO and A body Chevelle are the same 64-67 except the rear section like a El Camino. Man that frame is pretty.
