Not looking forward to heading home to SNOW COVERED & COLD MICHIGAN. Our stay in the Keys has been cut short, our daughter will be having her first baby ( a little girl who's name will be Addison) near the end of Feb. Because this is our first, rain, hail, freezing rain, snow or blizzards can't keep grandma & grandpa away.
The other news is My baby, our 2nd frame off restored L79 Beaumont is finally home in the garage waiting for spring. We brought it home at the end of October. It was immediately covered and stored before we left for Fla. It has been resored back to the original factory build sheet, Regal Red, Black Interior, Muncie 4-speed, 12 bolt, factory tac, SD side moldings, and SD spinner hub caps.
The hardest parts to find to bring the Beaumont back to Original was finding the SD side trim & spinner hub caps. After buying 4 sets of SD side moldings I finally got 8 pcs. that could be cleaned & polished for the L79. I was also able to get one set of near perfect spinner hub caps out of the 6 sets I bought. It took nearly 5 years to complete this restoration. Now Susie & I can drive our His & Hers L79 Beaumonts to Car Shows.
Can't get much better than this a new Baby Daughter and New L79 Baby Beaumont.

Wow....one lucky couple. New Grandchild, multiple dream cars, winter in the Keys, wife that participates in your hobby......etc . I'll try to find sympathy for you and the Michigan cold! On a more serious note, congrats on the granchild news, our daughter is expecting her 1st soon too. Exciting times! Travel safe.
I have 2 grand children ages 4 and 2 . From day one and especially now I come up with any excuse to drop by to see them. I understand cutting trip short .Enjoy ,the fun is starting
Great reason to head home Joe and Susie. My best wishes for an easy delivery. I am sure your daughter will appreciate having her own Mom nearby.
We hope to see these great Beaumonts this summer. I am planning on heading to Woodward, Hotel is booked and LeMans will be ready for the trek so we should make a plan to meet if possible.
Congradulations, Joe and Susie, grandkids are great and about the only thing that trumps an L-79 beaumont. We look forward to seeing the L-79 hopefully at Soaring Eagle in June. Norm & Candy
