Read that article this am. Can you imagine the return on the developmental costs that went into these models? ( not ) Wouldn't want to be the marketing guy that convinced the manufacturer that there was a niche for this particular model.
I think it was 1983 when I was at a GM meeting in Winnipeg and the Cadillac Cimarron was under discussion. I clearing remember the guy from GM asking if anyone could guess how many Cimarrons had sold the year before out of Winnipeg Zone.
