Have seen these advertised and at flea markets.
Anyone running them? Let us know your experiences?

Which ones ?
im running led's in my tail lights and instrument cluster, i have these ones left because they shipped me wrong ones
then i bought some more, then the others arrived.
I wanted to use the 30 led for my fron signals but they are to big !
mine need to be 1" in diameter.
Here are a few in my car

tried both red and blue and decided to keep the red ones.
Might just keep the blue ones as a spare set.
im also going to change out the one in the end of my floor console because
an ordinary bulb allways burns the plastic lens.

Thinking that with more light from the LEDs this would mean brighter tailights and brake lights Thus a higher degree of visibility. And they run cooler.
Have I got the picture right?

Yep, and longer life, less power draw.

they are brighter, just does not seem to be as much contrast between tail ight and brake, but they do make the tail lights brighter.
I think that the colour in the dash looks neat.

The red LED's are going to be brighter. For whatever reason, we have found that blue LED's and blue neon tubes in channel letters are not very bright. They are harder to read as well.

I use some white LED's that would blind you... Unbelievably bright!

they fit perfect. i was concerned about that as well
the one in the radio looks cool as well.
Glove box is giving me trouble (not the bulb but the crappy original Sw )
the ones i used for cluster were a 4 led bulb.

had trouble with an after market socket (bulb did not fit tight.)
but that was true of an original bulb..
.
I have to take the cluster out if i want a spare bulb (fell inside)now !!

LED's use less power so have less resistance causing a very fast flashing
signal. Do you not need a special flasher for LED?

THe only problem i had was when i put the LED's in the dash for signal indication.
with an Led in the cluster the flasher would not work. But the Green ones (LED)
i put in the cluster were no difference from the original so i left them original.
that is i had front signal/parking lite and rear tail/brake on LED's and the indicators original bulbs

I found that the red ones show up much better with a red lense, white ones will "wash out" the red lense.
are they 1157 bulbs or 1156 ?
