MC & 68 327 4spd

Mark & Brian,

Mark found my dream car, and Brian test drove it for me.  These people never met me, yet went out of their way to make my purchase possible. Many thanks to both of you. I offered Mark a $200 finders fee, he preferred that CP benefit from the $200 rather than himself. Who turns down $200.00 cash?!  A very nice gesture, that I hope karma takes care of.  I used it to buy the banners that are circulating these days. Thanks guys. The day-to-day help I received from everyone else while doing the 67 GP was invaluable, I'd still be doing it if it werent for this site.

Tom, thanks for the kind words.  I was happy to help and truthfully, it was with very little effort on my part.

Just to know how happy you are with the car is more reward than I could ever ask for, not to mention the story of your adventure in getting it home that you shared with all of us!

And thanks for donating to CP!  It's a great site and it's a wonderful thing to give back a little.

smile

These are the only pics I that I have access to from work. I was specific that I wanted a 67 Beaumont with a bbc and a 4sp Muncie in a color that I like. And the boys found it pretty quick. Everyones dream car is different, and this is mine. I've never seen a car I'd rather have. The old man was killed in 1969 in a car crash, and I grew up being asked by everyone who knew him, whatever happened to that car. To this day, people gush over how beautiful and fast his car was. I dont have his car, but as close as I could get. Fresh paint on all original metal, crate 454 and a freshly rebuilt Muncie. I am quickly earning the same reputation as Dad. In my neck of the woods, I am known as the guy with the beautiful Beaumont.....mission accomplished.

The pics are poor quality, and taken right after I got it. I went crazy with it over the winter and am anxious to show it off, but the last of the upgrades (headers) happens on Tuesday. Lots of new shiny bits! IMO the 67 Beaumont is the most beautiful car ever designed, but thats just me.

Very nice. Good clean cars are hard to find.
