Most high end cars have a valet key or button, but most of those cars were not really high end cars with a few exceptions.
Tossing your keys to a valet is like sending your youngest daughter on a date with a sex addict. The only way to prevent that is to include a $20 bill with the key and it doesn't hurt to say, "Pepe, there is another 20 when I return if you park the car out front".
Last time I was in Montreal my car spent the entire weekend under the canopy opposite the main doors of the Crowne Plaza Montreal Centre on Sherbrooke, same thing at the Westin in Ottawa on Colonel By Drive.
Reminds me of High School Autoshop where the teacher's cars always got road-tested after repairs, some more rigorously than others!. I remember being a passenger in a teacher's Gremlin once w/ a classmate/driver showing me some cool roads he knew at the gravel pit near our school.. All seemed fun until a hard donut at speed resulted in a Hell-Drivers style sideways stunt then both tire beads ripped off the rims and the fun ended!. Lots more teacher car tales!
