Hood Hinges......Help!!!!

I'm in need of a set of hood hinges for my 66 Acadian. Now I was told that they used the same hinge on a number of different makes and models is this true, if so where should I be looking ? I tried a set from a 70 Nova and they almost fit but the bolt holes where just a bit too far apart.
