This Acadian Beaumont Sport Deluxe L79(327ci/350hp)4-speed is one of the rarest cars built in Canada. GM of Canada documentation shows only 23 were built in 1965 which makes it rarer than the 206, Z16 (396ci/375hp) Chevelles in 1965. It was originally Regal Red with white interior, it has now been restored and repainted with GM White Pearl Diamond and has a Red interior. It was invited to be shown at Meadowbrook Concourse De Elegance, and has a article written about in the Muscle Car Enthusiast Magazine. If your interested in a rare collectible 60's Muscle car this is the one. Price - $ 89,000
That is Joe & Susie Lizon's 73837 L79, 3rd one in CP 1965 Beaumont Registry-Jan. 12, 1965 production and they have another 73837 L79 in CP 1965 Beaumont Registry-Mar. 26, 1965 production.
Only other L79 is Randy Miles 73867 in CP 1965 Beaumont Registry-Jan. 12, 1965 production, #832189, odd that 2 of 3 CP L79s have same 1965 production date. Only 6 still exist of the original 23 1965 L79 Beaumont Coupes/Convertibles built.
The one for sale here was in November, 2007 issue of Musclecar Enthusiast magazine on pages 32 and 33.
