Im the Rarest of Rare a 1936 Chrysler Airflow Barn Find
A Happy Ending to my story see below.
Needing Adoption.
Looking for a new loving family to nurse (restore) me back to good health. I could be the last Canadian born 1936 CHRYSLER Airflow to pass if some loving family does not adopt (buy) me. Please dont let my family end up only in the Canadian history books. If I am brought back to good health, I can be your servant and drive you around for years more like I did for my other masters.
My DNA & Genealogy
I was born (built) in 1936 to serve my care takers (owners) in Canada. With only having 49 brothers and sisters (Cars) including some of my brothers and sisters that only had 2 arms (Doors). They nick named me the C9 sedan (42 SED body style 17) having 4 arms. I was number 17 born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. I still have my original ID number and electro plate identifying me. I am just a little different then my U.S. cousins in my insides (interior). Some of my original cells (interior lights) that I was born with appear to be from my ancestors from 1935. I have spent the last 6 months trying to find the whereabouts of any of my family from Canada. I was told by a cousin of my mine (Airflow Club of America) that all my brothers and sisters are deceased that was born (built) in 1936 for the Canadian Market. To the best of their knowledge the only survivors are my cousins in U.S. I do have (U.S. built) cousins now living in Canada.
My Car(e) Takers
Unfortunately my memory has failed me on all my Car(e)-takers over the years but I do recall the last 40 some years of my life. I remained in the care of the same caregiver for all those years. They gave me a loving home and I gave them the best 68,000 miles of my life, as showing on my pace ticker.
My Health Condition
I recall about 40 years ago my heart (engine) started to fail so my caregiver put me into intensive care (storage) with 6 other patients in need of care. The doctors (mechanics) removed my heart and liver (engine and radiator) and sent it out to see if they could repair the valves and pumps (pistons). You know what I mean, a complete rebuild. But my rare overdrive transmission is still intact.
Wouldnt you know if bad luck hits. My heart (originally an inline 8) and liver was misplaced and could not be found anywhere. Now what? Is this the end for me? Not yet. My caregiver decided to leave me in intensive care. As I waited for my heart and liver to be returned 40 years passed by.
My health started deteriorating even more. My skin turned a brown and reddish colour and caught a rash. My arms skin started to chip off at the bottom. The doctors called it oxidation disease. My caregiver tried everything to keep me alive. He eventually moved me to a new warm room. As years went by my caregivers health started to fail and since has passed on. My sincere sympathy goes to the family. As I lay in intensive care wondering what will happen to my well being. Will the rest of my care givers family give up on me and pull the plug and send me off to the crusher? I wait!
I will never forget On a Tuesday in September, 2010, I was woken up by bright lights and people talking. They were discussing adopting me out to a new family including the 6 other patients I shared my room with. There was a man and his wife looking me over and the other patients very thoroughly. I caught their names, Richard and Val. Could this be new caregivers? A few days later I am loaded on an ambulance and shipped off to another city called London.
Since then, some of my body parts have been found and gathered up. I am still waiting for the return of my heart and liver or maybe an artificial (non-original) transplant. Richard was talking to a cousin of mine and he is checking into a man in California who might have a heart replacement. This is so exciting for me.
Please only call my masters if you are serious. Contact Richard (519) 521-5365 or Val (519) 808-1415
Thank you for all the great responses Ive received to my story.
Yes I cant believe it, Ive been adopted and my new car(e)takers found my original Heart north of Toronto! They are sending the Patient Transfer Ambulance in a few weeks and Im scheduled for a Heart Transplant within the next few months!
