This car, or one like it, has been for sale before.   The flower cars were part of the funeral precession.   Basically it's like an El Camino, with a couple small side doors to access the area behind the front seat.   They've got a custom built box for the interior of the cargo (flower) area.   Because of the water from the flowers, they're usually pretty rusty.     This one would be pretty neat restored.

That's neat. Looks like a Catalina 2 dr sedan roof over a Bonneville 2 dr ht body.

You can see one like it in the funeral scene in Godfather I.  Flower cars can still be ordered new through the funeral association trade papers.

Very cool!

Now that's got to be rare, never seen or heard of one made by pontiac.  Seems to be at a fair price as well.

I spoke with owners son this morning.  Nice guy, sent me about 15 more pictures of car and filled in some history on car.

It would take serious money to restore.  Car is worth saving regardless.

But whoever did the work way back in 1962 was a nothing short of a genius.

Man is that thing cool, if anyone wants to see more pictures just pm me, I will forward them.
