A friend of mine put his 41 Graham "Hollywood" Street Rod on Craigs List. He said someone "cancelled" his add  "saying his car was OVERPRICED & Poof, the add was gone??? Is it possible for this to happen on that site, if someone doesn't like your add or price they can "Delete" your add????? disbeliefdisbelief

Doesn't seem likely  that Craigs list "would care" what you priced a item at.. confuse

Maybe a hacker with a dislike for his car ?

Unless its Craig himself.....I wouldnt think so.  Some free classified sites are attemting to clamp down on car scams, so several valid listings get axed just because they dont have one of the prerequisites such as phone#.
