NOS Reproductions

Seeing the note about sponsors reminded me that I've never posted about my experience with NOS Reproductions.

Although I have yet to install it, my experience with purchasing a carpet for my Canso was excellent! Price and service were great.  Their general attitude in dealing with a customer is very refreshing compared to some of my old car parts repro purchases, I have to say...

I bought my trunk Mat from them and they went the extra mile to get me the correct pattern. The price came in less than expected. Great communication from them as well. A+++ top shelf.

The staff there have treated me well for years with all of my A-body needs. And as usual, I'll be calling back soon!

Called Dale on Fri. to see if they had a W/S weatherstrip for the 52 Torpedo back, as one listed on WEB said it didn't fit my model. Dale called me back shortly, & said he could get me the "correct" one next week & ship it out. Great service, knows his stuff & body #'s I like to deal local & this side of border [if possible] but after calling "many" glass supply places I had to order the glass from the USA only one glass shop here took the time to "try' & help & could locate only the right side. My friend in W.V. went to his local glass shop in Charleston, then called me for body #, gave him the Chevy body #[as not to confuse them] & the glass shop asked "do you want clear, tinted top band, or straight tint" I ordered "tinted" & it will be there in 4 days!!! Some difference in service compared to glass shops up here??? Rusty is going to bring them to Summit Store in Ohio, & we'll swap them over there. ROAD TRIP!!! love it

Well, it only took me a year and a half but I finally installed this carpet.

Two thumbs up to NOS for the service and a good quality carpet. I'm pretty happy with the fit. Installing a carpet is not necessarily fun but this one went ok. Still some final trimming/fitting to do but I doubt I'd find a better fit.

Thanks again.

Once again, I have to say NOS has a level of service I have not experienced anywhere else in the reproduction parts world. Customer service second to none.

In a nutshell, I buy from NOS. Part supplied to them from manufacturer is incorrect for application. Manufacturer refuses to acknowledge this. NOS exchanges part for me anyway and I assume will go after the manufacturer in hopes of compensation. THAT is customer service which is extremely rare.
