Air Ride reservoir tank question...

We've decided to add a reservoir tank to our air-ride system. Even with a much larger compressor now added the ride-height changes just take too long. I looked at www.airbagit.com and they have 1, 3, 5 and 9 gallon tanks. With our car being a full-size I thought that a 1 or a 3 wouldn't be enough but a 9 would probably be too big, so we're probably going to go with a 5. Anybody have any thoughts on this choice...?? The air-ride system is awesome but the height adjustment issue has been a pain-in-the-ass...

I'm not going to be helpful but why is it that my Cadillacs can adjust in milli seconds to weight put in the trunk or rear seat. Is a factory system that much more powerful? All these cars have is a compressor that cycles on and off regulated by a level control module.

the suspension on your car, still uses springs, with shocks ray. the air suspensions dont use springs of anny sort. just an air bag with a shock. the psi difference required to change ride height between the 2 is substancial. as for the size of the air tank, the 5 gal is better for you than the 9 gal, as the compressor is guaged for a smaller tank. its cfm is too small for a 9 gal tank, and will run to long to fill it and overheat. therfore destroying the compressor
