I bought an 85 pony in 1990 for 250$ for a transmission,shoulda kept the body i guess?  used the trans for my  85 stellar,that thing would take a beating...except for the trans i guess

Hyundai is one of the better cars available now. They are building "GREAT" cars at a reasonable price, something the north american car producers can't or won't do!!!  their Warr. is excellant & they stand by their product. Not like the big 3 or small 3 now where they tell you "oh that noise is normal" or "SORRY, we got your money, now live with the problem cause we ain't fixin it" Alot of Gm products are now made in Mexico  & some are even imported from China & Korea!!!  Kia is "kicking BUTT here as well, sister company of Hyundai!!!!!!!!!!

i,m not a fan of the kia,s but i really do like the higher end hyundais. parts are cheap, and easy to work on

look at that monster wing on the back of that thing!

Can't blame folks for choosing foreign, everybody wants the best bang for their buck. All loyalty goes out the window if it might affect your pocket book. I agree with bird, every time someone buys foreign your feeding some other country. Like wise, I don't think people appreciate being bent over just for buying domestic. Explain to me how the HEdouble tooth picks is a pickup truck is worth 50-70G ???
