Pontiac is sitting uptown with 4 feet of snow in front of doors

Sweepers are out and they were washing the street a few blocks from home when I came home this afternoon.  Actually isn't much sand on the street this year.  Should be good to go for the weekend.

Even when the pavement is dry and it's sunny there are still way too much salt on the roads. I have seen a few motorcycles on the road already though.

Street Sweepers were in town yesterday. They must have taken away 5 township dump truck loads & theres still salt & sand on the streets after they finished. Think the sweepers are worn out ,as they are "really" old that the contract out company has!!! Thought it was a bit early to do this, especially if we get another storm!!! I too will wait for a few good rains, too wash the roads. Sign that spring is "REALLY" almost, could be, maybe Here

I am curious as to why? I dont need headers, but wondered why you dont want them on anymore?

...c'mon spring!  I am chomping at the bit too. I feel the need for speed.  Still a lot of sand/salt on the roads here. I took the interceptor out for a test drive,  it will be on the road in a few days as a daily driver. I never exceeded 50 kmh but the rear wheels sure did! I enjoyed the excess power. It should be a couple more weeks for the Beaumont. Most of my free time will be spent on making the firetruck functional as a car mover. Bring on the sun!

Going out tonight to get the front seats out of the GTO so I can get the covers and foam installed. Still a pile of crap on the roads out here, probably a good month or better before it comes out of storage.
