What's This Fan For???

I got this a while ago in a bunch of tools I bought at auction.

First of all, it's oldbiggrin It has rubber blades, about 4 1/2" x 3", it has an air (vacuum?) fitting on the side, a needle/thumbscrew to adjust the air/vacuum flow, and no name/markings/numbers on it.
Anyone see anything like it in a car?

I'll have to try it out some how. Wonder if I could hook it up on the GMC biggrin
