what carburator is on my 327 engine?


i want to rebuilt my carburator this spring but i don't know which rebuilt kit to buy?
what is the carburator that came on my 327 CID 250 HP 4bbl Astro Flame V8
where is the best place to buy a rebuilt kit in the US and which kit should i buy?
i am in the US right now so i can order it here and bring it back

The original 1964 250 HP 327 with P.G. auto should be a Carter WCFB (white cast four barrel) # 3693S

I almost positive that the 250 HP uses a rochester 4GC carb.

Higher horse stuff has AFB

MY BEAUMONT HAS 4 STUDDED TIRES AND 2 BLOCKHEATERS......AND LOTS OF OIL UNDERNEATH.  The other one has a longer roof.

Rochester 4gc carb kit is readily avail from the parts store

Bluestreak/standard/hygrade # is 322F

Should be only about 20 bucks from partssouce, napa, pistonring, autovalue, etc.

Yep Max, 4GC. There might be a triangular brass tag (they often go missing) on one of the front top screws that tells you the exact carb # ... it's 7 digits.
