Third attempt at posting my Ponty pics...

522.JPG524.JPG538.JPG535.JPG539.JPG519.JPG501.JPG506.JPG503.JPG2011_0226awsome0557.JPGFirst off is my 67 Laurentian which I believe was Canadian assembled for the right hand market, I picked up the car as an 18 year old and it in a very sorry state. It had been crashed in the front and had been sitting in a field for a long period and even had mushrooms growing in the floor! I had panelbeaters look at it and I was encouraged to scrap as it was too far gone. In the end a close friend put the car back together for me. When we started the job I was unable to find the correct front for the car so I ended up purchasing a Gran Prix nose for it. After 7 years the car was finally on the road. Its currently running a warm 283 V8 and turbo 350 trans. Its lowered on SS Cragars and 265 Eagers and has a twin 2 1/2 inch system. It looks good in a photo but truth be told the body is not great and rust is appearing in numerous places especially in the bottom of the back guards. I have owned it for 15 years and will only part with it when my younger brother wants it.
I have only just purchased my 67 Catalina, I picked it up from Christchurch New Zealand where it had recently arrived from the Nevada desert. As you can imagine it is very dry and is completely rust free but the interior is stuffed. Its powered by a 400 V8.
While I am currently living and working in Australia both my cars are in storage back in New Zealand. Fair to say I am absolutly itching to get started on the Catalina but it will have to wait.
While living in Australia I am running around in a 1976 Isuzu-Holden Gemini, 1600 with a 5 speed manual. Thought I would include a shot of that as well...

The Grand Parisienne/Prix  front end makes for an awesome upgrade and unique looking Laurentian.
