that really sucks, looking to the east i see fog above edmonton and we are sitting in sun shine. working under a car putting a rack and pinion back in four inches of water yeha. itll be fun changeing the clutch out on the wagon
Yesterday I had some light hauling for the Daytona truck. Stopped off at "The Penguin" car wash in Inglewood and did a splash n' dash. The first flakes of snow were falling as I pulled out of the wash. The rest is history...........
Good thing I bought new 50 series "Falken" all seasons for the rig. There's 250 pounds of bagged playground sand back there, plus a full tool box. The Daytona seems to be blasting thru.
The CTS is parked for the weekend.
Everybody is being decent driving here today (Saturday), in fact, when the weather was nice the last few days of the week in Calgary, there were more idiots out there with "spring fever" for sure. Including a dude who took his own life in a Corvette convertable on the Glenmore Wednesday night. Vette vs. light pole. The light pole won.
No matter what the weather is folks......let's be careful, it's a jungle out there!

'64 Parisienne CS "barn find" - last on the road in '86 ... Owner Protection Plan booklet, original paint, original near-mint aqua interior, original aqua GM floor mats, original 283, factory posi, and original rust.
Edmonton we've currently got 2 degrees and partially sunny sky's. I have never seen the amount of consistent snow that we've seen this year. Having said that...it beats earthquakes, radiation, dictators and bombs...

I agree 03CTS Sport......we are blessed. Shoveling snow beats shoveling chunks of house, family possesions, soaken chesterfields, mud...........you get the picture!

So the guy in the Vette died? I saw that crash on the news.
I heard he had died later that night. I happened to be going south on Blackfoot Trail at about 8 PM that night and saw the wreck. There was no way I could tell it was a Vette, let alone what year it was! He took the hit right on the driver's door.

Looks like we will be "lucky" in that the forecast has changed. The system has weakened. There was talk of a foot of snow. That could have been a death sentence for us as far as the upcoming flood goes. Now it appears maybe 1/4" of rain at the most and an inch of snow maybe.

I'm not really the "artsey type", but there's some really good areas to take some winter pictures here, with the sun out now and everything!
Maybe I'll go over to "The Peace Bridge" and see if a picture or two of the snow on it. Chances of a pedestrian being on it are getting lesser everyday!

That's good news.....I guess. Who ever the driver is, I hope he gets a normal life back. He may pay for his driving for years to come, health-wise and money-wise. The wreck looked worse from The Blackfoot Trail at dusk.

I heard about it from a couple truck drivers that came that night (I was at work) They said they didn't think anyone could survive that.
