still plugging along

Hey All

It's been awhile but still plugging away on the 54.Almost ready to try and start her up after a long cold winter. No heat in the garage and after the winter from hell it's finally warm enough to get back at it.I picked up a new rad cap and locking gas cap the other day.Luckilly with a little detective work my buddy at the local NAPA store came up with them both for under 30.00.All the front end is back on,new p.s front door latch assembly is installed,new/used battery tray from the delivery cleaned up,painted and in place.Going on mondayto pick up a new 6 volt battery.Got to flush out the gas tank, thankfully after a good soak in penetrating oil the plug broke loose and came out.I had a new muffler pipe bent up from the engine back to the muffler so need to install it.I may just slip on a cherry bomb muffler to get it running and over to the muffler shop so they can bend up a tailpipe.I still have to figure out how the blowby pipe attaches on the p.s of the motor.I have the pipe but seem to be missing the clamp to secure it down at the bottom, anybody got a pic of how it attaches? Then to try and get her fired up.After that, drill out the broken seat mount bolts and install new ones, buy and install the carpet, steam clean the seats, and finally re-install the hood and springs.Anybody got a pic and dimensions on the spring installer tool?Lokks like a simple piece of c channel with a couple end caps, pretty sure i can fab a set up real easy if i had the length, etc.

thanks fitz,do you have a pic of how or what the bracket attaches to at the bottom.I have the silver clamp thingy but not sure if it attaches to to block or oil pan,may be missing the piece that connects there.

The parts you can see on the left picture, it's  beind the tube in the right picture is attached to the pan with the bolt pan.  If you need a better view, I can take another picture for you.
